Nightlife in Egypt is pretty low key as people tend to come here to see the sites, most of the entertainment is hotel based with a few bars offering live music that will cater to western tastes.

Shopping for souvineers is a must and there is no where better than to find them than the local market or bazaar, here you will find local trinkets, carpets and handicrafts, part of the fun is when it comes to paying as you will be expected to haggle with the vendor to get the prices down.
